How quickly can I get my printing done?
Usually within 24 hours of sign off and deposit being received. This is for all flyers, A3 posters and most brochures up to 15,000 units. It is also possible to have it done on the same day. We charge a 20% same day loading. All other jobs can take 2-3 days depending on quantities and finishing of the jobs.

My print file is too large to email, how can I get it to you?
Just go to our File Upload section here. You can upload files of any size directly to our server. Just remember to advise us that you have done this along with the file names.

How should I set up my files for print?
PDF files are our preferred file type. Create the PDF using a High Quality Print option or PDF/X-3. Ensure all colours are in CMYK and not RGB. Also, there must be a minimum of 3mm bleed on all sides of the job. If it is an Illustrator EPS, ensure all text has been converted to outlines. If it is a Photoshop TIF or JPG, ensure that the job is set up at the size of print (plus bleed) and the resolution is set at no less than 300dpi and the colour is CMYK. Also, make sure the TIF has been flattened.

What is bleed and why do I need it?
Bleed is extra background around the finished size of the document so the colour ‘bleeds’ off the edge of the page when cut, to ensure no white edges. The only time bleed is NOT required is when artwork is surrounded by white space on ALL pages. Please refrain from putting objects and text closer than 3mm to the edge of the finished size to ensure nothing on your artwork is cut off (therefore 6mm from the edge of the bleed).

How do I get the best possible colours when printing digital?
To get the best possible colours when printing digital is to refrain from using light tints and light colours. Beiges, light browns and greys don’t reproduce very well so if you keep to the brighter end of the spectrum you are ensured to get a great looking print job.

Can I use overprints and transparencies?
You can, but if you do you must let us know and be available to come and sign off on a proof. It is much safer to do your designs without any overprints or transparancies, however, if you do, bring everything into Photoshop and save as a flattened TIF. This should stop any problems from arising.

Can I use Pantone Colours?
No, you can only print Pantone’s specifically if you are printing a job offset. However, you can specify a Pantone colour and a CMYK equivalent will print. Please note that these, although sometimes close, vary widely. If you must use a Pantone colour and our digital CMYK bridge is not suitable then we recommend doing an Offset print run. Should I get a proof?
Not always, with digital printing we usually get a great job the first time. Basically we print it as you see it on your screen. Do keep in mind that all screens are a little different, so if it's imperative that you see a proof we would recommend you drop in and do a Press Check whilst the job is running.
